CAPTCHA Security Added to the Site

Postby jamcominc on Sun Nov 16, 2008 10:29 pm

Due to the high volume of SPAM-bots signing up for accounts on the website and supplying junk comments using the Contact Us link, we've added a security feature called CAPTCHA to the site. For existing users, this new feature should have little if any impact on your site usage.

New Users will be required to enter the 5-character code displayed in the Registration Form before the form will be processed by the system. Likewise, any user who submits comments to the webmaster using the Contact Us form will be required to enter the 5-character code displayed in that form as well. This will prevent automated SPAM systems from creating junk accounts and SPAMming our inbox.

Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
