Unit Number: EM-10 The Chief of Operations is responsible for operational components of McLean County Emergency Management. These duties include, but are not limited to, volunteer recruitment, training, pre-operation planning, operational response and coordination, and supervision. The Chief of Operations recommends to the Director all staff promotions and demotions. The Chief of Operations reports to the Director or in his / her absence, the Deputy Director. Chief Hodges oversees the Operations Team's work, strategies, and goals. He serves as a liaison with the ten other counties in the Unified Command Post response area and represents the McLean County EMA at MABAS, EMS Affiliates, and Disaster Council meetings. He is a Finance/Administration Section Chief for the State of Illinois' Incident Management Team and serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Search and Rescue Council. |
