The Team The Operations Team is comprised exclusively of volunteers and is supervised by the Chief of Operations for the Agency. The team meets every week for the purposes of training and equipment/facilities maintenance. Team members are required to successfully complete an extensive list of incident management training, vehicle training, and other courses specifically related to the field of Emergency Management. All team members either hold full-time jobs within the community or attend a higher-learning institute. Team members actively contribute to the community outside of their job/academic responsibilities and Emergency Management commitments. Since the team is volunteer-based, members willingly offer up their time, skills, and resources to the Agency to further its mission and goals and to provide the best possible emergency management services to the citizens of McLean County and the State of Illinois.
If you're interested in joining the Operations Team, we'd like you to understand the level of commitment required of our team members. The team isn't right for just anyone.
