Agency Divisions

The Operations Branch consists of three Divisions, is comprised exclusively of volunteers and, and is supervised by the Chief of Operations for the Agency. Field Operations and Administration Division staff meet on the first, third, and fourth Thursday of each month for the purposes of training and equipment/facilities maintenance. Staff members are required to successfully complete an extensive list of incident management training, vehicle training, and other courses specifically related to the field of Emergency Management.

All staff members either hold full-time jobs within the community or attend a higher-learning institute. Staff members actively contribute to the community outside of their job/academic responsibilities and Emergency Management commitments. Since both divisions are volunteer-based, staff willingly offer up their time, skills, and resources to the Agency to further its mission and goals and to provide the best possible emergency management services to the citizens of McLean County and the State of Illinois.
